Long, long ago, there was a Mengbanza country in the Dai area of China. The son of the king of the country, Zhao Zhuangxiang (played by Chen Qiang), Zhao Shutun (played by Tang Guoqiang), was handsome, brave and good at fighting, but the king was domineering and Prince Shutun had no freedom at all, and even his marriage had to be decided by his father. Although the daughter of a noble family was charming and enchanting, she could not impress the prince. In the end, Shutun quietly slipped out of the palace and went into the forest to find his hunter friend Yankan. In the forest, he met seven beautiful peacock princesses, who were the daughters of the king of Mengao Dongban. The youngest princess, Nam Mu Nona (played by Li Xiuming), fell in love with Shutun at first sight. After the matchmaking of the Dragon King and the macaque, the two finally got married. However, the vulture turned into a jealous prince of state affairs, and he did everything he could to destroy the happiness of the young couple... This film won the Best Special Effects Award at the 3rd China Film Golden Rooster Award in 1983 and the Crystal Butterfly Cup Award at the 14th Czech Children is Film Festival in 1985.
