A generation of demon fox-一代妖狐

This film is adapted from a short story in the folk legend "The Biography of Bao Zheng". During the Northern Song Dynasty, a thousand year old fox demon wanted to become an immortal but did not think about the right way. He killed people in the folk to help himself practice. He was arrested by the demon suppressing saint Zhong Kui and banished to the mortal world. He was reincarnated as a daughter of the Chen family and married to Zhao Da. When the wealthy businessman Liu Shichang returned home to visit his relatives, he stayed overnight at Zhao is house and was killed by the couple. His soul could not disperse and asked Zhang Biegu to redress his grievances. Bao Zheng solved the unjust case and caught the fox demon. The thousand year old fox demon was beheaded for not repenting and will never be reborn.
