Chaozhou was hit by a severe drought, and the people were living in dire straits. Huang Batian wanted to forcefully marry Yugu, and Bailong came to the rescue. Grandma Jiao begged Bailong to bring rain to save the people of Chaozhou. Bailong violated the heavenly law by bringing rain without permission, and was punished to be sent to the human world. In order to prevent the invincible Huang Batian from causing chaos, the Jade Emperor ordered Chaozhou to be sunk to the bottom of the water. Bailong struggled to deal with the heavenly soldiers, while Yugu and Grandma Jiao led the people of the state to evacuate Chaozhou City. Finally, the flood submerged the sinking Chaozhou City and Huang Batian into the water, turning it into the current Chaohu Lake.
